Learning and instructional design veteran to join AllCampus’s course design and development services team, helping partner institutions develop and launch online courses and programs
Chicago (September 8, 2021) –– AllCampus, which partners with leading, traditional higher education institutions to grow online enrollment and maximize market share, today announced the appointment of Michael Caruso as Manager of Instructional Design and Project Management as the company expands its course design and development services.
Caruso brings more than 20 years of experience in learning and instructional design to AllCampus, and previously led the development and design of hundreds of programs for top institutions. He will serve as a guide and advocate for AllCampus’s university partners as they embark on the full instructional design and curriculum development process, collaborating closely with faculty at each step along the way. Caruso’s thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and of the instructional design and course development process will enable him to provide informed recommendations to AllCampus’s university partners based on best practices in course and curriculum design.
“I’m excited to join the AllCampus team during a period of immense growth for the company,” said Caruso. “Our university partners are phenomenal at what they do –– teaching their students and inspiring them to change the world. Through a collaborative, agile approach, our goal as a course design and development team is to allow our university partners to do more of the work they love –– teaching –– and I’m honored to lead our team and our partners toward this common goal.”
Most recently, Caruso served as a training manager at CareMetx, an innovative tech hub in the healthcare industry, and a leadership solutions manager at Jabil, a Fortune 150 global manufacturing services provider. In these roles, he collaborated with senior leaders in operations, engineering, finance, IT and business development to ensure the planning, design and delivery of learning and development activities for hundreds of managers and frontline employees. Caruso also served as an associate vice president of instructional design at Bisk Education, where he was responsible for establishing online degree and non-credit certificate programs for adult learners.
“As an expert in learning and instructional design, Michael will be a huge asset to AllCampus and our course design and development team,” said Joe Diamond, CEO of AllCampus. “He will be instrumental in helping our partner institutions develop and develop engaging, effective courses and programs.”
