    Lean Six Sigma Certificate Programs
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a workplace methodology that relies on collaborative team effort to improve business process performance by systematically removing waste and reducing variation. Recognizing the value of LSS certification, many companies require this training for employees and suppliers.

To meet this growing demand, Purdue University created LSS certificate programs that are 100% online and instructor-led. Designed by Purdue instructors and online course development specialists, the program’s course content and instructional materials are regularly re-evaluated and enhanced to align with industry trends. Purdue offers the following LSS certificates for professionals at every stage of their career path, including:

    • Green Belt, for those just starting their LSS path.
    • Lean Principles, which serves as a complement to any Green Belt program, rounding out the LSS body of knowledge.
    • Black Belt, the culminating step in a student’s Purdue LSS journey that features a directed project.
    • Green Belt Refresher, for students who are Green Belt certified through another provider, this course serves as a precursor to the Purdue Black Belt course.

    Project Management Courses
Purdue developed its online project management courses to help students effectively plan, orchestrate and control complex projects in their organizations and pursue Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Purdue’s online project management courses include:

    • Project Management Essentials, the first step for professionals seeking fundamental knowledge and skills to immediately apply to their projects and advance their careers. The course also helps students earn the educational hours required by PMI.
    • PMP Exam Preparation is the follow-up course to Project Management Essentials.
